LAZIO STILL OWE CONI TWO MILLIONS

This article is a repost from article that published on lazioland.com.

Several days ago, Claudio Lotito made it quite clear that Lazio are unwilling to pay the necessary amount to play at the Stadio Olimpico next season. Describing the sum of money as disproportionate, Lotito said that while the club clearly wants a resolution, it is unlikely to be found with the current agreement.

Gianni Petrucci, president of CONI has reacted. He claims Lazio still owe two million euro in rent just to play league games at the Olimpico next season. He has also pointed out that there is a deadline for payment (30th June) and that Lotito is contractually obliged to pay.

While an agreement looks some way off, it would be a shock if the problem is not resolved prior to the fixed deadline.
