PRE SEASON MATCH: LAZIO 2 VS MALMO 1
Before
heading into a two-legged tie against Mura 05 in the qualifications for Europa
League Lazio welcomed Malmö of Sweden to a close to empty Stadio Olimpico.
Actually,
on paper Lazio should have gained a victory easily. But, the fact was
different. Lazio only got two goals, all of them were come from penalty kick of
Hernanes and Libor Kozak's chance in the last minute after took Zarate's
corner.
Stefano Mauri
tweeted on Twitter about this game; "Good game against Malmoe which boosts morale before the
football that matters, which is about to begin." While the coach Petkovic said, "Lazio played well against Malmo and dominated the match".
In
a week Lazio will travel to Maribor to kick off the season. Many question marks
remain and even further have been added today. Like I say before, this team is
kinda worrying to play around next season. Ederson is the only new man in this
team. A free transfer man. Lazio is wandering the transfer market this sumnmer
with empty result. Four lost in a row in friendly match and only gain victory
over mediocre team are not good results for Lazio in this pre season time.

The last fixture had been passed successfully! Yes, Lazio brought a glory to all Laziale that attended Olimpico Stadium last night. Three goals from Libor Kozak, Antonio Candreva and Stefano Mauri became the Lazio's last goals of the season.
In the end of first half, Lazio had been left behind by the guest team after Diego Milito scored a goal from penalty spot. The referee gave a penalty kick for Inter after Ledesma did a bad bad bad tackle to Maicon in the penalty area.

Kozak and Edy Reja |
In this match, I was really immpressed with both Candreva and Lulic movements on the field. The two players are the best players of Lazio last night! Just four minutes after Kozak's goal, both of them cooperated to create the second goal for Lazio. Lulic run on the left side area and succeed to pass through Maicon and He sent the ball to Candreva on the centre area. Amazing! Candreva shot the ball into the Castelazzi's net.

With this victory, Lazio get the fourth positionon the last standings of Serie A this season, because Udinese won over Catania. Fail to get the last ticket to Champions League next season. But, Europa League is not bad. Lazio finally can join a European championship next season after some of the issues affected the team throughout the season.
Wrong manuever in winter mercato by the management and endless catastrophic injuries that affected several Lazio players had caused the inconsistency of Lazio's performance. Without the problems, I think that Lazio deserved better position on the last standings. So, we need to thanks the coach Edy Reja for his hard work and of course for the players who have struggled throughout the season.
GRAZIE!! ^_^

Libor Kozak's Celebration |
After some depressive matches, Lazio finally met again with a victory. In matchday 37 of Serie A, Lazio faced Atalanta in Bergamo. This victory made Lazio keep on surviving in the last Champions League ticket race with Udinese, Napoli and Internazionale.
The home team actually started their performance in this match better from the guest team. They also won the ball possesion over Lazio. But poor for Atalanta, Lazio managed to lead in the first half after Libor Kozak scored a goal. After Kozak's goal, Lazio couldn't manage to add their leading until Lorik Cana scored an amazing goal in the last minutes of the match.

Senad Lulic also showed up again... |
This match really brought some fresh air to Lazio side. This is the first victory from the recent five matches of Lazio. In this match, you can also see the return of two Lazio's hero; Senad Lulic and Miroslav Klose. Yes, they are back into the field! Lulic played his position from the beginning of the match. In minute 89, He replaced by Onazi-one of Lazio youngster-. While Klose got in to the field to replace Kozak in minute 65. I hope they will bring the Lazio's glory in the final fixture next week!

THE MIRACLE DIDN'T COME...
JUVENTUS 2 VS LAZIO 1
Juventus: Buffon,
Lichsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Vidal (80’ Giacherrini),
Pirlo, Marchisio, Pepe (72’ Matri), Quagliarella, Vucinic (72’ Del
Piero).
Lazio: Marchetti,
Scaloni, Diakite, Biava, Garrido, Cana, Ledesma, Gonzalez (81’
Brocchi), Mauri (72’ Hernanes), Candreva, Rocchi (74’ Kozak).
As I could tell before in the last article, Lazio indeed need a miracle to win the match against Juventus. You know that Lazio have been unstable for several matches before, while Juventus is an unbeatable giant in Serie A until now.
In
a game where Lazio scored on the only dangerous attempt over 90
minutes, and with the Old Lady attacking over and over again it would be a quite nice match that Lazio can bring 1 point from Turin. It
was a one sided game, where Juventus attacked, and Lazio tried to
defend. When Lazio succeed to keep the Marchetti's goal clear from the start of the second half until the minute 80's, I think the match would be ended with draw result, but the veteran Alessandro Del Piero scored from a free kick eight minutes
from time sealed the victory for Juventus.
Stefano Mauri scored the only goal for the guest team in the end of the first half through his header. Believe or not, it was the first shot on goal for Lazio in this match. T_T ... Lazio finally really get lost of their hope when Libor Kozak sent off after receive the second yellow card in the last minutes of this match.
But, there was a lucky for Lazio where the rivals also got the same results. Both Udinese and Napoli got lost in this matchday. So, Lazio is still on the third position and Udinese on the fourth while Roma Merda increased their position on to the fifth.

A PUNISHMENT FROM FLOCCARI
SERIE A 2011 / 2012 MATCHDAY 30
PARMA 3 VS LAZIO 1
Parma: Mirante, Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli (90’ Santacroce), Biabiany, Mariga, Valdes, Galloppa, Gobbi, Giovinco, Floccari
Lazio: Marchetti, Konko, Biava, Dias (15’ Scaloni), Radu, Gonzalez, Ledesma, Matuzalem, Mauri (69’ Hernanes), Kozak, Rocchi (62’ Alfaro).

Lazio had suffered their ninth lost last week when they went to Ennio Tardini against Parma. More tragically, two goals of Parma had scored by Sergio Floccari, Lazio ex-player.
As if want to punish his former club, Floccari showed great perform in this match. Created some chances that threatened Marchetti's goal, finally He scored two goals to bring his current club three points.
After this match, Lazio's position was threatened by Napoli and Udinese, two teams with only three points behind Lazio. Fortunately, they had same losts. Napoli was knocked down by Juventus 3-0, while Udinese had taken down by Siena 1-0.
Lazio had left behind 0-2 in only 12 minutes. Mariga and Floccari scored in the first half. Lazio scored their sole goal from speculation shot of Lionel Scaloni after took a pass from Libor Kozak. But, Floccari added his goal in the second half that made this match ended with score 3-1 for the home team.

KLOSE IS INJURY, OUT FOR A MONTH
There is a bad news!! Lazio have been hit by a news that Miroslav Klose's injury is as bad as expected and the German will be out for up to a month. The injury couldn't come at a worse time as Lazio are being pushed to the brink for the final Champions League slot. Klose is likely to miss key clashes with Napoli and Juventus.
Following the sales of Cisse and Sculli in winter mercato, Lazio will only have to depend on Tommaso Rocchi, Libor Kozak and the new boy Emilliano Alfaro upfront.
