THE FUTURE OF FLOCCARI IS STILL VAGUE

Radio Mana Mana contacted the agent of Sergio Floccari in a bid to find out what may be on the agenda for the Lazio striker this summer. The response was cagey to say the least and with rumours abound that Floccari could go on loan to Parma in the very near future, the following comments will do little to reassure Floccari fans:

"Sergio is a player in high demand. We must understand the technical perspective of Lazio but an assessment will be made if and when Lazio official acquire a new striker. Parma? It is only the 17th June, at this stage it is almost entirely speculation."

The Lazio striker situation is a puzzle. With Miroslav Klose recenty joining the Roman ranks, Sergio Floccari may find himself as fifth choice striker when the new season begins having fallen behind Mauro Zarate, Tommaso Rocchi and Libor Kozak in the pecking order. Giuseppe Sculli would be another option for the forward line, further diminishing Sergio's role.

However, it appears more likely that a departure for Floccari would depend heavily on the potential signing of Panathanaikos star Djibril Cisse. Should the French forward find himself in the capital, there would most certainly be no room for Floccari at Lazio.
