Two veteran players in the squad, Cristian Brocchi and Giuseppe Biava had contracts set to expire after this season. But, finally Lazio announced on their official website several days ago that both of them have signed new contract and those are set to expire in summer 2013.The 36 years old midfielder, Christian Brocchi and 34 years old defender Giuseppe Biava are still considered as the key players in the current Lazio team. Brocchi who is now 36-year-old joined from Milan in the year of 2008, while 34-year-old Biava came from Genoa two years ago.
Not only them, goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri and defender Lionel Scaloni are also expected to be offered a 1 year contracts. It looks like Lazio still need the Argentinians eventhough they only often sit on the bench all this season long.
