WHAT A DRAMATIC DERBY!!

Lazio gained an important victory against their rival, Roma Merda in the last derby de la capital of Serie A last Sunday.

The victory was gained dramatically when the second goal of Lazio scored in the last minute of the match. With this victory, Biancoceleste also stop their rival’s consecutive win in last five derby matches. In five derby matches before, Lazio got lost consecutively.

In early minutes, Lazio performed bad pace while their rival played with high spirit. It converted to a goal in minute 5 when Federico Marchetti couldn’t stop a shot from Osvaldo after he set free from Lazio’s offside trap.

Lazio finally performed better in the second half. After several minutes tried to create some chances, Lazio got the equalizing goal through Hernanes’ penalty kick. Referee Tagliavento pointed the penalty spot after Simon Kjaer did a foul against Christian Brocchi in penalty area. Kjaer also has been sent off by the referee because of that incident.

With their rival only played with ten men, Biancoceleste had more spirits in attacking pace. Miroslav Klose had a chance of scoring through his heading. But unlucky, the ball only hit the post. The same thing also occurred to Djibril Cisse when he got a chance to shoot, but the ball only hit the post.

When the time was getting closer to the end, Hernanes sent a direct pass to Matuzalem. With only one touch pass, Matuzalem sent the ball to Miroslav Klose. Then, with his killer instinct, the German bomber hit the ball that result the victory goal into Stekelenburg’s net. And that the way of drama was.

After the referee blew up the whistle, all of Lazio elements -the supporters, staffs and the players- showed their enthusiasms for this victory. It was a dramatic victory in derby de la capital.

With this result, Lazio raise their position on the table of Serie A up to the fourth position with only one point gap after the capolista Juventus. Forza Lazio!!!
