UNLUCKY....!!

Lazio Starting Line-Up

Sporting Lisbon: Rui Patricio, Insua, Onyewu, Anderson Polga, Joao Pereira, Fernandez (70' Andrè Santos), Rinaudo, Schaars, Capel (74' Carrico), Van Wolfswinkel, Carrillo (53' Evaldo).
Lazio: Marchetti, Konko, Dias (69' Radu), Diakitè, Lulic, Gonzalez, Cana, Brocchi (63' Sculli), Hernanes, Klose (46' Cisse), Rocchi.

This was the second match of Lazio in Europa League! After a dissapointing match in their home in first match against Vaslui, Lazio had to fly to Lisabon to faced the Portuguese representative in this event, Sporting Lisbon. Lazio went to Lisabon with unconvinced result in the five last matches before, with only one victory, three draws and one lost.

Miroslav Klose

In this match, Lazio (once again...) failed to perform their mighty over the home team. Sporting scored two goals into Marchetti's net through van Wolfswinkel and Insua. Lazio only had one goal that had been scored by Miroslav Klose before the first half came to end. Coach Edy Reja had been sent out by the referee after a protest about Insua's goal which was occuring after the added time should be over.

I watched this match with  full of curious feeling in the second half. How not? In the second half, Sporting only played with 10 men after and Lazio quite dominated the match, but Lazio gain no added goal until the referee blew up his whistle. Several chances in the second half through Djibril Cisse, Giuseppe Sculli, Abdoulay Konko and the captain Tomasso Rocchi failed to be converted into an added goal for Lazio. According to me, Lazio deserve a better result in this match. It was just unlucky guys...!!
