ANOTHER FAILED LEADING...


 LAZIO 1 VS CATANIA 1

Another failed attempt to gain a victory for Lazio occured in matchday 9 of Serie A. Played in their own home Stadio Olimpico, they only gained draw result with score 1-1 against their guest Catania. In this match, Lazio played without some their key players in the starting lineup. Hernanes --although He played in the second half--, Stefano Mauri, Alvaro Gonzales was struggling with their injuries. While Andre Dias got his suspension. His position in this match was replaced by Marius Stankevicius.
Actually, Biancoceleste got the lead first in minute 17 after the German bomber Miroslav Klose scored his fifth goal of the season of Serie A. He maximize a crossing from Christian Brocchi with his heading. But, Lazio conceded an equalizing goal from Gonzalo Bergessio in minute 63.

With this result, Lazio failed to take over Udinese's position. Instead, Lazio go down to the third position. Unfortunately, it was a big chance to take over the capolista because in the different place, Udinese got lost from their opponent, Napoli. Then, the capolista had been taken over by Juventus after they got a victory over Fiorentina.
