Lazio third goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo set to leave Biancoceleste to Internazionale in the summer. The 28-year-old’s contract expires in the summer and Lazio have not
offered him a contract extension, opening the door for Inter to sign the
Argentine.
The Nerazzurri have been looking for a veteran goalkeeper to back up
Samir Handanovic as Luca Castellazzi has had injury problems and Vid
Belec is viewed as being too inexperienced for the role. The official announcement of the signing could come in February, after the closure of the current transfer window.
Carrizo is former first goalkeeper if Lazio. But, in his first season, he could'nt get his best performance and finally Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera took away the position from him.
