Surprisingly, Lazio managed to secure the second postion of Serie A before entering the winter break. With three points added after victory against Sampdoria yesterday, Lazio is now colected 36 points, 8 points behind the top position Juventus and only lead 1 point in front of Fiorentina and Internazionale.

At Luigi Ferraris Stadium, the home team made a high tempo attacking pace. It made Lazio concentrate more to survive their goal than to score a goal.
