They also have a record each time they face Lazio. Milan had not walked off the pitch against Lazio as losers since 1998. That is more than a decade of constant wins or draws for the Rossoneri. That described how powerful Milan over Lazio. Very few thought Lazio would stop the negative trend agaianst Milan in this match. But, in this match, the 28th attempt more than a decade of managing to beat the Rossoneri finally realized. Finally Lazio had overcome the monster Milan have turned into.
Both in the first half and the second half, Lazio struggled with five midfielder and only left Tommaso Rocchi alone in forward area. Il capitano became the only option to fill the forward position after Miroslav Klose could not play in this match because he got a problem about his fitness.

Il Capitano's celebration |
Rocchi's goal |
Milan shocked for the first goal of home team and tried to push for an equaliser, moved their forces forward and attempted to pressure the Lazio defence further down the pitch. But, Lazio still strong enough to held up from Milan's attack. Instead, in minute 85 Lazio added their goal through first time shot of Il capitano Tommaso Rocchi after received an asisst from Senad Lulic on the left side. 2-0 for Lazio!!
For me, it was an amazing match! Finally, the guest team record had been broke out. Now, Lazio still held on the fourth position to keep their gaps from Inter and after the upper positions; Juventus on the first, Milan on the second and Udinese on the third. Congratulation, Lazio!!
