In the third friendly match of the pre season, German bomber Miroslav Klose once again impressed with a first half hattrick in Lazio's 8-0 win over Venetians Pievigina.
The coach Edy Reja decided to started Klose upfront alongside the captain Tomasso Rocchi, in a 4-3-1-2 formation, and had bagged three goals by half time. Christian Brocchi, Anderson Hernanes and Giuseppe Biava also scored in the first half to give Lazio a 6-0 lead at the break.
Mauro Zarate and Giuseppe Sculli replaced the strikers for the second half and scored a goal each before a host of changes throughout the squad brought he game to a close.
