Lazio's bad record when they had lost for three times in a row has broken! They finally gained the first victory in four last matches in week 37 of Serie A this season. Genoa became the victim of Lazio's rising in this week. Genoa had lost 2-4 from Biancoceleste. With this victory, Lazio keep the race for the last one ticket to the qualification of Champions League next season.
Lazio started this match with good tension. Giuseppe Biava scored a goal with his heading in early minutes. But Lazio had shocked by the reply goal from Genoa's player Paloschi. But, slow but sure Lazio start to steal more goals in second half.
Cristian Ledesma donated three assist in this match. First, he donated it to Giuseppe Biava through corner kick, the second he donated it to Tomasso Rocchi that made Lazio's leading 2-1. And the third he donated to Hernanes to brought 3-1 Lazio's leading. Hernanes scored two goals in this match. The second goal he scored was an assist from Mauro Zarate. After he received a cross from Zarate, Hernanes shoot the ball directly into the goal of Genoa. 4-1 for Lazio's leading!
After three consecutive defeats, the Biancocelsete are on fourth position with one game left. Fifth-place Udinese have a chance to claw back the position, which qualifies for a preliminary round of the continental tournament, when they visit Chievo on Sunday. Let's hope that Lazio will defend this position until the end of Serie A this season...!! Good job Lazio!
