Zarate will not be a starter in Lazio-Cagliari match

Lazio have begun the Serie A season in spectacular fashion, topping the table after seven rounds of football. Despite the club's success,Mauro Zarate's inconsistent form will cost him a place in the starting XI as coach Edy Reja reverts to a 4-3-1-2 formation for their home clash versus Cagliari, according to Ansa.

Zarate had a brilliant debut season at Lazio in 2008-09, but has failed to impress in the new campaign.
Il Biancoceleste utilised a 4-2-3-1 formation in their 2-0 win over Bari with Zarate in a wide position, but with Hernanes in inspired form the Brazilian will be used as a playmaker behind two strikers - Sergio Floccari and Tommaso Rocchi - leaving the Argentine attacker on the bench.

Cagliari have yet to win on the road this season, with three draws and a loss. Meanwhile, Lazio have two wins and a draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
