As I informed before, Lazio will play against a Slovenian team Mura 05. Maybe many of you don't really know what team Mura 05 is, so I try to published the profile of the team.
ND Mura 05 are the successors of the now-bankrupt NK Mura from the town of small town of Murska Sobota in the north east of Slovenia, right near the border with Hungary. The region is most famous for having a dialect, Prekmurian,
so different from either Slovenian or Hungarian that it is considered
its own language, although it is only thought to now be spoken by a mere
80,000 people. So getting involved in the chants of the local crowd may
prove to be a tricky affair.
They formed out of the ashes of the sadly skint NK, who played in the Slovenian PrvaLiga
for many years, winning the national cup in 1995 after being the losing
finalists the year before. And despite being the same club in all but
name, when Mura 05 reformed in 2005, they had to start down the leagues,
and current play in the second flight of Slovenian football, the 2. Slovenska Nogometna Liga.

Nice profile.
ReplyDeleteIf Zarate, Hernanes, and Klose are on their top form, Lazio will have a party in Slovenia.
